This program answers a question posed by both traditional and electronic graphic artists and designers. It provides a way to overcome the scaling limitations of programs and photocopiers.
For example: many photocopiers have a maximum scaling limit of 147%. If you need to scale something to 325%, how can it be done? In steps, that is scaling the original a certain amount, then scaling the resulting scaled copy over and over a required number of times. But, how much should each step be scaled, and how many times (steps) are required.
Run the program and when prompted, enter the maximum scaling your photocopier provides. Next enter the desired scale when prompted. The program will responds with the message dialog "% scale for each step" and the amount. Next, the program displays the message dialog "Number of steps required:", and the number.
